Ordinary toslink cables are usually poor quality, plastic and have plastic cores which attenuates the signal and causes signal loss and errors. All of our toslink cables have full 24k gold tips (including the entire insert, not just the signal carrier), and full metal handles. The only plastic component of the plug is the flex restricter at the end of the handle. The optic fibre is a high density polymer resin which ensures maximum signal power and prevents signal loss.
